Weekend in Copenhagen

Between our bikepacking and backpacking trip we decided to head down to Copenhagen to visit a friend who was passing through. The train and bus options were not looking great so we decided to take a boat.

The boat left in the evening which meant we got to sail down the Oslo fjord during the evening light and even caught the sunset!

We slept very well–the boat rocking us to sleep. In the morning we missed the sunrise but caught some very nice morning sun.

Sam decided to be silly when he was drinking his morning coffee.

We didn’t see to many sights in Copenhagen, we mostly took it easy. I did visit Christiania as well as the Christiansborg Palace where the Danish government is located, in addition to a few horses.

On our last day we went kayaking! The big bucket was to pick up trash but the bay was so clean we only found one small piece.

The return trip to Oslo was also beautiful with a sunset and a morning in the Oslo fjord.
